MATH 121 - Fundamentals of Calculus T> 3 Hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): ACT Math score 24-27 OR ACCUPLACER Advanced Algebra score 243-282 OR MATH 108 - College Algebra T> minimum grade B OR MATH 120 - Pre-Calculus Mathematics minimum grade C. Note: Math test scores valid for 3 years. This is a course designed to provide students in biology, business, economics, psychology and sociology with the special concepts and techniques of calculus, which have important uses in their respective fields and which are needed for subsequent calculus-based courses in probability and statistics. Topics, emphasis, pace and applications are somewhat different than in Calculus and Analytical Geometry I. This course is not generally recommended to majors in mathematics or the physical sciences.
