Articulation agreements are arrangements between colleges that ensure that courses taken at one institution will be accepted for credit at another institution. GCCC has developed articulation agreements between several colleges and universities throughout the state to help students achieve their transfer goals.
Baker University
GCCC students with an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree with a cumulative grade point average of 2.60 or higher are guaranteed admission to Baker University with Junior standing towards a bachelor degree. Under this agreement, Baker guarantees the acceptance of all A.A. or A.S. degree program credits, as long as the course grades are C or higher and the course number is 100 or higher. Bellevue University
GCCC students transferring with a full Associate’s degree or approximately 60 full credit hours can transfer to Bellevue University with Junior standing towards a bachelor degree. Under this agreement, GCCC transfers pay a Bellevue tuition of $350 per credit hour (before fees), a discount of approximately $90 per credit hour. Bethany College
GCCC students with an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 can transfer to Bethany College with Junior standing. Under this agreement, students will complete at least 62 hours at Bethany including ID201 (Research Intensive Topics), ID202 (Religious Literacy Topics), BQ305 (Bethany Transfer Quest) and BQ310 (Bethany Quest III). KSU students who previously attended GCCC or are currently enrolled at GCCC, meet GCCC’s resident credit requirement and transfer a minimim of 45 credit hours to KSU will be eligible for reverse transfer credit to facilitate Associate Degree completion. Certain course work from GCCC will transfer to KSU to contribute to the requirements of the Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management. Kansas Wesleyan University
GCCC students with an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 can transfer to Kansas Wesleyan University with Junior standing as a baccalaureate degree-seeking student. Students must complete at least two courses from each of these categories: personal awarenss, human expression, community and world exploration and natural world stewardship. Students must complete at least one course from each of at least four different academic divisions in the KWU Liberal Studies Program. GCCC students completing the GCCC Cybersecurity program may transfer to KU to earn the Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Cybersecurity through this 2+2 articulation agreement. If students are pursuing this program as an ICCAE Scholar they will be eligible for up to $5000 for their junior and senior years if they have a 3.0 GPA, are a U.S. citizen and have completed one course on national security or the U.S. intelligence community.
