MATH 120 - Pre-Calculus Mathematics

Prerequisite(s): ACT Math score 24-27 OR ACCUPLACER Advanced Algebra score 243-282 OR MATH 108 - College Algebra T>  minimum grade C. Note: Math test scores valid for 3 years.
This is an advanced course in algebra for students preparing for Calculus and Analytical Geometry I. Major topics include vectors, systems of linear equations and inequalities, matrices and determinants, summation notation and properties, arithmetic and geometric sequences. Mathematical modeling is integrated throughout the course. There will be brief but thorough review of polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions.
