Prerequisite(s): High School cumulative GPA >= 3.0 and >= 3.0 in subject OR High School cumulative GPA >= 3.25 OR GED Math score 165 or above OR ACT Math score 22-23 OR SAT Math score 540 OR ACCUPLACER QR/Algebra score 263-300* OR MATH 107 - Intermediate Algebra T> minimum grade C OR Concurrent Enrollment in MATH 108C - College Algebra Companion *If SAT score is 274 or higher, student may request to take Advanced Algebra and Functions test. Note: Math test scores valid for 3 years. This course is a foundation course for advanced study in mathematics, business, and the sciences. It requires adequate mastery of basic algebraic manipulations. This course is a survey of topics including functions and their graphs, polynomials and rational functions, logarithms and exponential functions and systems of equations.
