Prerequisite(s): High School cumulative >=3.0 and <3.0 in subject OR High School cumulative GPA 2.5 - 3.0 OR GED Test score 155-164 OR ACT Math score 21 OR SAT Math score 530 OR ACCUPLACER QR/Algebra score 250-262 OR Beginning Algebra (MATH-006 or MATH-106) minimum grade C. Note: Math test scores valid for 3 years.
This course is designed to be a corequisite course for a student concurrently enrolled in College Algebra (MATH-108). This course will provide support instruction in algebraic techniques needed to be successful in College Algebra, additional problem-solving time, use of appropriate technology, as well as study techniques that benefit learning mathematics.
