Prerequisite(s): ACT Math score 24-27 OR ACCUPLACER Advanced Algebra score 243-282 OR MATH 108 - College Algebra T> minimum grade C Note: Math test scores valid for 3 years. This course is the study of the methods in mathematics used for statistical decision making. It includes a basic introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics. Some applications to biology, business, industry and psychology are covered. The objectives of the course include the applications of statistical inference to contemporary problem solving.
