Prerequisite(s): ECON 111 Principles of Economics: Macro with a minimum grade of C.
This course is an introductory course to the study of individual economics units. Topics covered include the principles of opportunity cost, economic resources, and the supply and demand model. In addition, this course focuses on consumer equilibrium theory, utility, productivity and the cost structure of a firm, market structure, labor markets, income distribution, international trade and an introduction to comparative economic systems.
