PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Certificate C in Emergency Medical Technician Technology is a paramedic program. The mission of the program is to continuously improve the quality of EMS education through accreditation and recognition services for the full range of EMS professions. The program is designed around a flipped classroom model where the core content is delivered and completed on the students’ own time outside the classroom. Delivery of the core content includes a variety of methods involving video, podcast, and exercises. The graduates are eligible to challenge the National Registry certification exam to become both national and state certified as a paramedic. The semester-by-semester plans described below are general guidance. Students should work closely with their academic advisors to develop a plan that best meets their own individual needs and goals.
