PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Associate in Science Degree in Pre-Nursing is a program that prepares students majoring in nursing to transfer to a fouryearcollege/university. The Pre-Nursing program is NOT for admittance into the GCCC Nursing program. Please contact the GCCC Nursing Department for moreinformation. This degree fulfills the College’s mission of developing skills in written communication, oral communication and critical thinking while advancing knowledge in diversity and social responsibility. The semester-by-semester plans described below are general guidance. Students should work closely with their academic advisors to develop a plan that best meets their own individual needs and goals.
