Prerequisite(s): Tested out of or successfully completed developmental reading and writing courses OR instructor consent.
Students have frequent practical opportunities to develop skills in creative writing through the development, organization, preparation, and composition of various pieces. This course allows students to study imaginative writing with particular emphasis on poetry, the short story, and other genres.
