EDUC 210 - Exceptional Child T> 3 Hour(s)
This course is designed to provide context for individuals working with exceptional children. Moreover, it examines methods of including students with exceptionalities in the general education classroom in accordance with the principle of least restrictive environment. Students will be introduced to the history of special education, related terminology, characteristics of high-incidence disabilities, and common accommodation strategies to promote equitable learning opportunities for all students.
