This is an introductory course dealing with the biosphere. Course concepts include physical and biological processes that shape the earth, interconnections of organisms and their environment, human interactions with natural resources, the economic and ethical decisions concerning the environment, and the components of a sustainable future. The course is for non-majors seeking a lab science. Three hours lecture/three hours laboratory per week.
