This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to serve as effective agricultural advisors, providing valuable insights to farmers for optimizing crop management practices. This course encompasses a range of topics crucial for crop consultants, including pesticide recommendations, identification of weeds, insects, and diseases, economic thresholds, nutrient deficiencies, soil type and moisture assessment, and scouting techniquies. Through a combination of theoretical understanding and practical applications, students will develop the expertise necessary to make economically sound crop recommendations.
