This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the insects that impact major agronomic crops and the strategies for their effective management. This course covers essential topics such as insect identification, integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, insect monitoring and scouting tactics, insecticide recommendations, insect anatomy, and economic thresholds. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences, students will gain the skills needed to make informed decisions in insect management for crop production.
