Program Description: The Unmanned Aircraft Systems Technology (UAST) Certificate is a program that provides an excellent starting point for individuals who wish to pursue a career in unmanned aircraft systems or utilize UAS skills within an existing industry. This program introduces individuals to UAS components, regulations and industry-use cases. Individuals are further able to troubleshoot UAS equipment and plan UAS missions while observing the highest standards of safety. This certificate prepares students to take the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam (Part 107). This credential fulfills the College’s mission of developing skills in communication and problem solving while promoting a strong work ethic. The semester-by-semester plans described below are general guidelines. Students should work closely with their academic advisors to develop a plan that best meets their own individual needs and goals.
