The Certificate A in Feedlot Production provides an educational curriculum to enhance a student’s ability to be successful in his or her agricultural endeavors, specifically geared towards the beef cattle feeding industry. It is designed to introduce and refine skills needed for a successful beef feeding operation. This credential fulfills the College’s mission of developing skills in communication and problem solving while promoting a strong work ethic. The semester-by-semester plans described below are general guidance. Students should work closely with their academic advisors to develop a plan that best meets their own individual needs and goals.
