Prerequisite(s): Placement is determined through multiple measures according to college policy.
This course is designed to improve basic reading skills as a co-requiste to a college-level transfer course. The focus of the course is to study and implement the support strategies that strengthen the comprehension skills, vocabulary development, and strategy use needed to navigate college-level transfer-course textbooks. Students must receive a minimum grade of C in the course. This course does not meet degree requirements.
