EDUC 203 - Health and Movement Education Methods in the Elementary Classroom T>

This course will provide the prospective elementary teacher with the knowledge and techniques necessary to organize and supervise physical education games and activities as well as health awareness with an emphasis on nutrition, risk behaviors, hygiene, and methods of teaching health appropriate to the elementary classroom. The student will develop a better understanding of how health and movement play a role in the elementary child’s growth and development. Course offered Fall and Spring semesters and online Summer rotation.
