Prerequisite(s): High school chemistry and advanced algebra or concurrent enrollment in College Algebra is recommended.
This course is the study of atomic structure with an emphasis on electronic configurations and their effect on chemical properties. The three phases of matter are studied through problem-solving methods. Three hours lecture/three hours laboratory per week. Course offered Fall and Spring semesters.
