Prerequisite(s): ACT Math minimum test score 21 OR ACCUPLACER QR/Algebra score 250-262 OR any math class with a minimum grade of C OR concurrently enrolled in a math class OR instructor approval.
This course in general chemistry is designed primarily for first-year students in various health-related programs. Emphasis is placed on practical aspects of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry. Theoretical topics are dealt with only as an aid to understanding human body processes. Three hours lecture/three hours laboratory per week. Course offered Fall and Spring semesters.
