Program Description: The Associate in Applied Science in Crop Production Technology provides students with essential skills for success in agriculture. Through a mix of theory and hands-on experiences, students learn to analyze plant conditions, communicate effectively, and apply scientific principles to optimize crop production. Graduates emerge ready to tackle the challenges of modern agriculture with critical thinking and innovative solutions. This credential fulfills the College’s mission of developing skills in communication and problem solving while promoting a strong work ethic. GCCC students earning a degree in the Crop Production Technology programs with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 will be eligible to transfer to FHSU to complete a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy or Business Agronomy.
