WELD 214 - Pipefitting

Prerequisite(s): WELD 213 - Layout and Fabrication minimum grade D OR instructor approval.
This course introduces the student to the pipefitting trade based on NCCER recommended competencies as well as instructor demonstration and hands-on application by the student. The course will include the design, layout, fit-up and fabrication of piping systems approved by the instructor. This course is designed to be beneficial to beginning students who wish to work toward employment in a welding/fabrication or pipefitting field.
