NURS 200 - Advanced Clinical Skills

This course focuses on the development of advanced clinical skills. Content includes initiation of peripheral IV, advanced IV skills, maintenance of central IV lines, administration of blood products, chest tube drainage systems, airway management and interpretation of basic ECG’s. Students are required to demonstrate safe, competent performance of skills presented in this course. Forty-five hours of campus lab.
