ROBT 100 - Basic Electronics

This course covers the theory of electricity which includes basic electron theory, magnetism, basic physical laws, resistance, alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC), simple electrical instruments, and series and parallel circuits. Circuits are constructed during laboratory exercises and tested to emphasize concepts. This course also introduces students to basic electrical and components and their characteristics, circuit schematics and basic analysis of series and parallel AC and DC circuits. Hans-on labs help guide student learners to assimilate this material.
