Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in NURS 200 Advanced Clinical Skills .
Advanced Leadership prepares the student to progress in the professional role of accountability based on appropriate scope of practice. This course focuses on nursing practice issues, legalities, civility, prioritization, and delegation related to the role of the professional nurse. Identification of clinical priorities, the use of clinical judgment and collaboration will be used to safe patient and organizational outcomes.
